About Us

This blog is the final project for our class on the censorship of literature offered within the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature at NIU (FLST 381/481/581/482/582). Our aim is to provide a resource for others to access in order to learn about the various countries, books, and censorship themes we covered in this class.

Our class consists of a blendĀ of graduate and undergraduate students from two different semesters:

Karla Findley, graduate student in anthropology

Cole Fraser, undergraduate student in Southeast Asian Studies

Danny Hess, undergraduate student in psychology

John Hood, undergraduate student in anthropology

Garrett Lee, undergraduate student in economics

Nicole Loring, graduate student in political science

Ryan Schuler, undergraduate student in Political Science

Sara Stephens, undergraduate student in communication studies

and Dr. Tharaphi Than, instructor
